This one has been seven years in the making and it’s something worth playing over and over again.
From being featured in Twin Peaks to releasing a fifteen-track double album, it’s all happening for The Veils.
With this album being released via Ba Da Bing Records, it’s clear to see that the high-quality production has exceeded their previously acclaimed album ‘Total Depravity’.
The beauty of this body of work is its raw understanding of life. A mixture of a tumultuous period of injury, isolation and new life being created, this album has everything a listener could need.
This writer has always said an album should be enjoyed with a coffee and it’s the same for this production. Even The Veil’s has explained this by saying “Make a coffee or smoke a cigarette – but don’t mow the lawn or go to the movies or something, that takes too long.”
As this album is listened to, it’s obvious from any listener’s point of view, that this is simply something to admire.
