Emerging Irish singer releases captivating new single
Heartachingly beautiful, Irish singer-songwriter Lucy McWilliams, today, releases her brand-new single ‘Slow Dancing’ that is oh so serene and caramel-smooth.
Following on from her successful track ‘Bumblebees and Blue Skies’ which was released back in October last year, ‘Slow Dancing’ encapsulates themes of loneliness and isolation – something we can all relate to, one way or another. It’s passionate, stunning and all things nice. It’s a sip of wine in the evening sun on a summer’s day – lovely!
Adding about ‘Slow Dancing’, she said, “The song is about exploring loneliness and what you drive towards whilst in it. It’s about finding comfort in intimacy with strangers. I guess it’s easier sometimes to be close to people you don’t know and don’t really want to explore. Something blocks you from reality because they are not in your world and won’t ever be. Painting a picture of the life we want people to see and how we want to be perceived. It’s a lot easier to keep up a front if you never let people in.”
Lucy is set to headline and support a host of shows across the UK and Ireland.
